Trading on margin

Trading foreign exchange and CFDs on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for everyone. Leverage can work against you as well as for you, and you can lose some or all of your capital. Depending on your account's terms and any negative-balance protection your broker offers, losses can exceed what you deposited. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Past performance

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. FX GOAT keeps two separate track records and never merges them.

The previous record shows results as reported by FX GOAT's own public performance statement. Those figures are published by FX GOAT itself: they are not a broker-issued statement and have not been independently verified or audited. The record includes losing months and drawdowns.

A new record is planned to start on 1 October 2026 with its own data source. Previous results are never carried into it, and until it starts it shows no figures. Any figure on this site is shown with the source it comes from.

Signals, livestreams and community content

General content on this website and in FX GOAT's channels (livestreams, clips, community posts and market commentary) is not a personal recommendation for your circumstances. You are responsible for your own trading decisions.

Whether a particular service, such as a signal service, is regulated financial advice depends on what is actually provided, not on this notice, and this notice creates no exemption. Any regulated financial service is provided only under the relevant documented mandate of the representative's financial services provider and within that provider's restrictions (see below).

Broker relationships and conflicts of interest

Some onboarding routes on this site lead to accounts with third-party brokers.

FX GOAT ALGO access in the member dashboard is available for trading accounts registered under FX GOAT's partner (Exness) or introducing-broker (Vantage) relationship, and FX GOAT checks that relationship with the broker. There is no minimum deposit or trading-activity requirement for FX GOAT ALGO access.

FX GOAT receives commission from Exness and Vantage based on the volume traded (per lot) on accounts registered under its partner or introducing-broker relationship. This gives FX GOAT a financial interest in you opening and trading such an account, and in you trading more.

FX GOAT does not charge you for FX GOAT ALGO access. What you pay to trade (spreads, commissions, swaps and other fees) is set by your broker; check your broker's account terms and cost disclosures for your actual costs before you trade.

Representatives and FSP 40003

Emmanuel & Thapelo — Representatives of Trading Markets (Pty) Ltd | FSP 40003

Emmanuel Tumelo Mabitsela and McGlory Thapelo Mabitsela state that they act as representatives of Trading Markets (Pty) Ltd under financial services provider (FSP) number 40003.

On the Financial Sector Conduct Authority's public register, FSP 40003 is shown as an authorised financial services provider registered to Assent Legal Solutions (Pty) Ltd, trading as Assent Wealth Management (registration number 2013/041735/07). You can check the register at https://www2.fsca.co.za/Fais/Search_FSP.htm.

A representative may act only within the financial products and services for which the provider has appointed them, and only under that provider's supervision and restrictions. This site does not list those product categories: ask us, or check the register, before relying on a representative for a regulated service.

This disclosure describes the representatives' arrangement under FSP 40003; it does not represent FX GOAT as independently authorised under that number. Nothing on this site means that the FSCA or any financial services provider endorses FX GOAT's results, software or content, and no authority to hold client funds or to manage accounts on a discretionary basis should be inferred from this arrangement.

Broker products are available only where your country and each broker's own eligibility rules allow. FX GOAT content is not directed at anyone in a place where using it would be unlawful.

If your complaint is about a regulated financial service provided by a representative, you can also complain to the financial services provider concerned and, if it is not resolved, refer it to the Ombud for Financial Services Providers (FAIS Ombud, https://www.faisombud.co.za) within its jurisdiction and time limits. Complaints about personal information can go to the Information Regulator (https://inforegulator.org.za). Nothing on this site limits those rights.
